I made this painfully edited adaptation story for the ALT-J ∆ song “Matilda”. Being one of the band’s favourite films, along with mine, “Leon: The Professional” (an incredible film frame for frame) I wanted to construct something that was true to the song as well as the film. An incredible story about the connection between Matilda’s protector and his lover.
